Game information
Burglin’ Gnomes is a cooperative adventure game where players control small gnome characters who secretly enter human houses to collect valuables. The game can be played solo or with friends in multiplayer sessions. Each mission places the team inside a large house where everyday objects become obstacles and tools at the same time. From the perspective of the gnomes, furniture, kitchen equipment, and decorations appear extremely large. The goal is to search the house, gather useful items, complete assigned objectives, and return safely before the mission ends.
Every mission begins when a group of gnomes enters a house to start collecting items. The environment includes multiple rooms such as kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, and storage spaces. Players move through these areas while looking for objects that can be stolen or used to solve tasks.
Because the characters are small, even simple objects like chairs or shelves require climbing or creative movement. Players must also pay attention to the layout of the house since important items may appear in different locations during each mission.
The game encourages players to work together to complete objectives more efficiently. Some items are too large for one gnome to carry, which means several players must cooperate to move them. Communication between teammates helps the group finish the mission before the available time runs out.
Common activities during a mission include:
These tasks form the main gameplay loop and repeat in every round.
Items collected during missions are not only used for scoring points. Many of them can be brought back to the gnome base and used to create tools or upgrades. These upgrades help the team perform better during later missions by improving movement or unlocking new abilities.
Because missions may contain unexpected situations, players must decide how much time to spend exploring before leaving the house. Staying longer allows the team to collect more items, but it also increases the chance of failure.
